Dr. Dzifa S. Kpodzo (pronounced “Geefa” “Pozo”) is an Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Kpodzo graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Integrative Biology, and then completed a dual medical doctorate and master in public health at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. She then completed her training in plastic surgery at the Harvard Plastic Surgery Combined Residency Program and fellowship in oculoplastic (eyelid) and cosmetic surgery at Paces Plastic Surgery in Atlanta.
Dr. Kpodzo’s philosophy is to make the patient experience warm and comfortable. She places a high value in caring for the “whole” patient by being attentive to each patient’s unique needs and individual goals. Patient education is a key part of doing this successfully, and this forum is one way to engage and discuss current topics in plastic surgery, tips and secrets and your burning questions.
